Your tasks
You will be employed in the accounting team which is a vital part of a corporate finance department of 17 dedicated colleagues. The team is responsible for internal and external reporting, accounting, tax, treasury, and financial investments for VKR Holding A/S. We provide support and advice to our senior management in VKR Holding as well as the business areas in the VKR Group - the VELUX Group and the DOVISTA Group. In addition, we work closely with our venture fund, KOMPAS. You will report directly to the Head of Accounting, Pia Egebjerg Mouritsen.
The accounting team is a key department, managing all aspects of accounting operations at VKR Holding A/S. This includes maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulations, overseeing budgeting and forecasting, coordinating audits, and providing financial analysis to senior management. Additionally, the team serves as a back-office function for Group Treasury, Financial Investments, the Employee Foundation, VKR Invest, Kompas Management, and KOMPAS Ventures. Our ambition is to ensure that quality, processes, and knowledge function at their highest level, creating a reliable and efficient financial foundation that leads to satisfied customers throughout the organisation.
In this role you will support and contribute to addressing the tasks mentioned above. While we don’t expect you to have experience in all areas, we hope you are motivated to learn and contribute to the team’s deliverables. In other words, you will gain broad hands-on experience across the full spectrum of accounting tasks.

Your profile
You possess a relevant financial education, such as a bachelor’s degree in economics and administration (Professionsbachelor or HD(R)) or have completed an Accounting Assistant Program (Regnskabsassistentuddannelse). Ideally, you have 3-5 years of relevant work experience and are proficient in Microsoft 365, Business Central, and Continia, or similar systems. You have a solid understanding of accounting and financial processes, along with experience in bookkeeping and VAT reconciliation. Advanced/proficient Excel skills, including the use of complex functions and data analysis, are essential.
We value strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a structured approach to work. You take responsibility and approach tasks with openness and dedication. Curiosity and a willingness to learn new systems are essential, as is a proactive approach to problem-solving. While we communicate in Danish in the office, experience in an international setting and familiarity with English accounting terminology are advantageous.
