Business Analyst in Corporate Finance

Are you excited to leverage your theoretical knowledge and enhance your experience in financial analysis and reporting? Join our team as a Business Analyst, where you will play a key role in analysing and reporting on developments within and around the VKR Group. We are looking for someone who can progressively manage various areas and is eager to take on increased responsibilities.

Your tasks  

You will be a vital part of a corporate finance team of 17 dedicated colleagues. The team is responsible for internal and external reporting, accounting, tax, treasury, and financial investments for VKR Holding A/S. They provide support and advice to our senior management in VKR Holding as well as the business areas in the VKR Group -  the VELUX Group and  the DOVISTA Group. In addition, we work closely with our venture fund, KOMPAS. You will report directly to our Senior Director in Holding Finance, Morten Theibel Fischer.

You will gain broad hands-on experience within the following areas:

  • Coordinate and prepare monthly reporting for the management and board of directors.
  • Analyse and report on the development of the business areas to the management and board of directors.
  • Prepare presentation materials for board meetings.
  • Conduct the budget for the VKR Group for presentation to the management and board of directors.
  • Prepare and coordinate selected sections of the annual report for the VKR Group.
  • Conduct follow-up and analysis of VKR Holding's venture fund, KOMPAS.

 In addition to the tasks mentioned above, there are ample opportunities to be involved in a range of assignments/projects that we will seek to tailor to your skills and preferences.

Your profile

You hold a relevant financial or economic degree, such as a cand.merc., cand.polit., or cand.oecon. Ideally, you have a few years of relevant work experience; alternatively, you are a recent graduate who has shown a keen interest in financial reporting through relevant electives and projects during your studies.

You possess strong business and financial acumen, are generally proficient in IT, and have advanced skills in the Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. You naturally take responsibility and approach your work with openness and dedication. You take pride in being structured and delivering high-quality results, combined with a solution-oriented mindset. Effective communication in written and spoken English is essential.
